An Teallach
An Teallach is one of Scotland’s finest mountains. It sits on the coast between Ullapool and Gairloch above the village of Dundonnell. It is more of a massif than a mountain, with two Munro summits, Sgurr Fiona (1060m) and Bidean a’ Ghlas Thuill (1062m), and a complex system of ridges that incorporate a further seven Tops.
While An Teallach is famous for some classic scrambling it is also a walker’s mountain. There are many options to reach the summits or explore the mountain’s stunning corries and buttresses without resorting to technical scrambling.
