Scrambling requires a lot of mountaineering judgement. Learn about equipment, navigation and route choice, the ropework, emergency procedures and retreat.

To learn and practice these skills it is not always necessary to head for the loftiest ridges, there are also many lower lying venues around Wester Ross that offer great opportunity for moving over steep, tricky terrain and making sure it is done safely.
