Scrambling on the An Teallach Ridge

Scrambling requires a lot of mountaineering judgement. Learn about equipment, navigation and route choice, the ropework, emergency procedures and retreat.

To learn and practice these skills it is not necessary to head for the loftiest ridges. There are many lower lying venues that offer great opportunity for moving over steep and tricky terrain and making sure it is done safely.

Good hill fitness and a head for heights essential. All technical equipment provided.

Spend a day learning and practicing the skills then a couple of days putting it all into practice in the mountains of Wester Ross.
