Skye Munros

Summit of Sgurr Alasdair, the highest peak in the Cuillin, 993m

Summit of Sgurr Alasdair, the highest peak in the Cuillin, 993m

The ultimate in British hill walking, all twelve Munros in five days.

This is a strenuous week involving a lot of simple scrambling and some easy rock climbing on the Inaccessible Pinnacle of Sgurr Dearg.

The Cuillin is so spectacular and wonderful, nowhere else in the British Isles compares with it. Everywhere is rock and scree, towers and cliffs, amazing corries with high lochs and always the sparkle of the blue ocean to the west stretching away to the Outer Isles.

There is a lot of exposure up on the ridge so a good head for heights is essential along with sure-footedness and plenty of previous hill walking experience. All technical equipment needed will be provided.

For other scrambling options see Cuillin Ridge Traverse and Skye Scrambles.
