‘Tame the Wild’
Three days of relentless outdoor adventure in Scotland’s wildest landscape.
Tame the Wild – Boot Camp – April 12th,13th,14th 2013
Climb, run, walk, scramble, paddle.
Expert instruction; wild country; packed agenda; comfortable hostel accommodation; great location.
In April 2013 gofurtherscotland is doing something different…..
We’re offering a three-day adventure boot camp based at the perfectly-located Sail Mhor Croft Hostel near An Teallach.
Maximum of 4 boot-camp attendees to every instructor – giving you the time and attention for instruction and feedback
We’ll be organising a range of activities provided by the gofurther team and invited experts. Pick and choose your own agenda from a range of options from performance sport-climbing coaching to adventure running and from ridge scrambling to sea kayak instruction. This is not a military style boot camp, if you are into that look elsewhere, instead tune into the ‘gofurther’ ethos ….. small groups, a genuine passion for the outdoors, the best guides, plenty of the right sort of personal guiding and instruction, good coffee, good flapjack, good stories, sometimes a rather alternative take on life, a memorable day out.
We’ll finish each day with evening talks on kit, technical skills and recent adventures.
- Push your rock climbing grade, sport or trad, with expert instruction.
- Traverse one of Scotland’s most dramatic and remote ridges on a 20-mile mountain challenge.
- Find your rhythm on a stunning trail run through the heart of the Fisherfield Wilderness.
- Experience some of the best coastal kayaking in Europe.
- Try some big walling climbing techniques.
- Try some of the best coastal trail running on one the North’s remote peninsulas.
- Discover outdoor adventure in Wester Ross.
The offer is strictly limited to 16 places.
