Tailored Guiding

Because our guides are local, we have the flexibility to tailor days to suit you whether you are on your own, with a group of friends or as a family.

go further is more than family friendly – guiding on most courses is free for children and teenagers under 18 as long as they are accompanied by two adults.

go further has a clear pricing policy. There are no hidden extras or expenses. The prices detailed on this site are the total prices you pay.

go further believes in working with small groups. There will be a maximum of four clients per guide on all our guided days. On some of our activities the ratio is one guide to two clients.

We offer more flexibility than most guiding organisations. All our clients have different interests and expectations. Some want to visit remote hills. Others want to combine climbing with ridge scrambling. You may want to climb one day and try off-road running the next.

We have the expertise, qualifications, local knowledge and flexibility to organise trips at short notice and to order, although some courses and activities are scheduled in advance.

A Personal Approach

The first thing we do is listen to you. Our guides will talk to you before you book your course. Your itinerary will be carefully planned and you’ll know exactly what we provide and what you should bring. Our guides will plan days that will match your expectations whether you are learning to rock climb or you want a gentle walk on a rugged hill – or both.
