The mountains, trails, lochs, coast and crags of Wester Ross were made for adventure. And, over the last few months, we’ve wondered how we can deliver a new kind of experience for people keen to explore the best of what the area has to offer – with expert guiding and instruction.
So, in April this year we are doing something a bit different….We’re offering a three-day adventure ‘boot camp’ based at the perfectly-located Sail Mhor Croft Hostel near An Teallach.
The three days of relentless outdoor adventure will include an inspirational mixture of activities provided by the gofurther team and invited experts. Join us to climb, run, walk, scramble or paddle. We’re calling this our ‘Tame the Wild’ boot camp and there will be a maximum of 4 attendees to every instructor – giving you the time and the attention for instruction and feedback.
You’ll be able to pick and choose your own agenda from a range of options: from performance sport climbing to adventure running and from scrambling or mountain walking to sea kayak instruction.
This won’t be a military-style ‘boot-camp’, instead tune into the ‘gofurther‘ ethos of small groups, a genuine passion for the outdoors, the best guides, plenty of the right sort of personal guiding and instruction, good coffee, good flapjack, good stories and a memorable day out.
We’ll finish each day with evening talks on kit, technical skills and recent adventures. There are only 16 place available for ‘Tame the Wild’. We’ve organised accommodation through the Sail Mhor Croft Hostel which is next to An Teallach on Little Loch Broom and prices include accommodation. For more information see Tame the Wild for more.
