Paul is heading for Yosemite this week. Part of the plan is to climb a route on El Capitan with his old pal Andy Kirkpatrick and Andy’s thirteen year old daughter Ella, probably Tangerine Trip. Paul has been dusting off his sky hooks, bat hooks, cam hooks, coat hooks and all the other hooks you need for Big Wall Climbing. He solo-aided a couple of lines on a steep, previously un-climbed, local crag which would be worth re-visiting to free the routes and add a few more apparently, something to do in the Autumn. Here is a rather uninspiring picture of the crag, but you get the idea.
