Advanced Ropework / Self-Rescue Skills
Something all competent climbers should be prepared for, looking after yourself when something goes wrong. You might save your life, or your partner’s, or you might get yourself slickly out of a silly situation that could have turned nasty. The course includes essential rope work, self-rescue and first aid skills. We will be based entirely at the crag and will also get some climbing done. Take this course, and avoid ending up dangling in the dark!

Big Walls
Short-cut your way to success on your big dream, be it El Capitan, Half Dome, Troll Wall or something further afield. Succeeding on big walls means being well prepared, solving problems before they arise. Learn and practise all the techniques you will need to climb a big wall: aiding, hauling, jumaring, traversing, beta on equipment, etc. A jam-packed exhausting two days with a chance of a night out on a portaledge. Only for experienced climbers.
